Setting Up Your Auction.
Setup your auction and list in this category: Everything Else > Information Products > Other. For the charity option, eBay will make you sign up with Mission Fish (free). Choose your charity and remember that the minimum is $10 donated per sale, so your “Buy It Now” price should be at least $20 so that you get $10 profit. Ebay will only allow payment through Paypal for charity auctions.
Nothing special is needed for your auction listing. Mine included a cute template that was provided by eBay (small extra fee) and more pictures of my cats :) I explained that I was raising money for http://www.petsmartcharities.org/ and planning to save for a down payment on a house with the remaining money.
